I worked with Jax, a personal trainer to elevate his brand presentation. He had an existing logo that was not quite right, so we discussed what parts of it were important to incorporate. Black and gold were key colors to keep as was the crown element. As we worked together, I could see he also needed a graphic to slot into his Instagram carousels. He chose the option with a gradient background, saying “That’s ME!”
Mystic Lotus Salon came into being in 2009. The original logo referenced Oshun, a goddess of beauty. By 2019 Mystic Lotus Salon had moved across the country, streamlined and refined its offerings. I reworked the logo and supporting design elements to infuse a sense of newness and reflect the ethos of the business.
I am passionate about partnering with small business owners to present themselves in the best light.
I designed an updated logo for a condominium. The signage on the property needed to be updated and look uniform. I used information gathered from an owner survey to create an updated logo that references a compass and porthole. Residents indicated the midcentury architectural details and location were the primary draws for the community. There was a need for better way finding signs to help larger delivery vans navigate the entry and exit gates. Information about COVID rules and how to properly dispose of trash and large items were created to make those policies more visible.
A partnership with a local metalworking company created this Midcentury inspired sign. Dial Heights is a suburb just outside I285 with many original 1950s homes. The addition of a sheet cake with the logo printed on it at the unveiling was particularly sweet.
Created for the 2018 Midterm elections to be used by a local group for get out the vote efforts.
I create digital landscapes to use as backdrops for my devices. As the seasons change I shift the color palette and mood. I’m inspired by celestial bodies and color. I often rework photos to create landscapes.
